Hi, there. My name is Chloe Desilets, an aspiring writer and artist, vegan, geek, and atheist, living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
I was born in Welland, Ontario, Canada on April 18, 1979. I graduated from high school in 1998, then, after finishing Ontario Academic Courses (OAC) in 1999, I attended Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada from 2000-2004, majoring in English Language and Literature, complementing these studies with a few courses in film, history, classics, women’s studies, and one French, one psychology, and one sociology course each. After finishing my education at Brock University, I moved to Vancouver, where I’ve lived since.
I got involved with the British Columbia Humanist Association in November of 2012; in spring of April 2013, I was nominated to join the association’s board of directors, on which I once served as treasurer. On top of that, and working a full-time job, I strive towards making my living as a writer and a visual artist.
